People have been asking me about the progress of my album so I wanted to provide an update. The music is almost completely done: all the instrumentals and vocals are written, I am just in the final process of mixing the tracks and making the album flow as a unified whole. Everything revolved around the release is on schedule, and it should be available in the first quarter of 2010. The single will be the precursor to the record, which features Johnny Whitney of The Blood Brothers/Jaguar Love on vocals. It’s also going to have an amazing remix package with some fellow DJ’s that I am excited to have involved in this release. The album itself features some other collaborations, aside from the aforementioned Johnny Whitney, it also features Todd Fink of The Faint, Beta Bow, Sammi Morelli and a few other surprises.

I’ve also received the final copies of the album art and it looks unbelievable, couldn’t be pleased more with what Robert Mearns has done yet again (you may remember the amazing portrait he did for my Skeleton EP). All in all, things are moving smoothly, and stay tuned on the blog because in the next couple weeks I will be posting some studio pics (possibly a video), and an In-Depth look at how I made the first track leaked off my record: ‘Drone.’
