E-Commerce in China: Learn from leaders, Work with leaders
For more than 30 years, L’Atelier BNP Paribas have been working as an “innovation enabler” for international groups and mid-cap companies.
Join us on Friday, October 16th for our DIGITAL CHINA 09 Preview Event that will analyze the e-commerce space in China.
The rapidly evolving Chinese internet space is rightly seen as an ideal channel to reach the emerging middle class of consumers. China's internet population now exceeds 300 million people, with more than 90 million online shoppers.
During the exponential market growth in the second half of this decade, many Fortune 1000 companies from various industries (cosmetic, apparel, fashion, retail, consumer goods, furniture and even services) began to build their e-commerce strategy. Unfortunately, very few companies have been able to achieve the growth and adoption rates originally sought.
Our partner Taobao.com, the leading e-commerce company in China, will join us to share views and insights about the retail activity and the retail strategy of the Alibaba Group.
The ninety-minute session will explore the growth and development of the Alibaba group with a particular focus on the TaoBao.com model tracking its past growth and identifying the needs and trends driving the expansion and evolution of e-commerce in China. We will also look briefly at what you can expect at the larger, and more in-depth DIGITAL CHINA 09 Conference and Tour from October 28th to October 31st.
Seats are limited, so please send your RSVP to rsvp@nextstepdirectory.com today.
